Milda Daunoraite is currently studying with Tessa Nicholson at the Royal Academy of Music, where she was recently awarded the prestigious RAM’s Bicentenary scholarship which funds her postgraduate studies. Milda’s musical journey has been generously supported by several esteemed organizations, including The Keyboard Charitable Trust, the SOS Talents Foundation – Michel Sogny, and the Mstislav Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation, as well as the Munster Trust and Hattori Foundation.

Her performances have been broadcast live in over 40 countries via Mezzo TV, Radio Classique, TV5 Monde, and Lithuanian National Television and Radio. Following her profile feature by EMCY, she performed V. Bacevičius’s Piano Concerto No. 4 with the LNSO at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, a concert aired across Europe by Euroradio (EBU). Milda also regularly gives solo recitals in the concert series “Piano and Art” at Künstlerfinca Can Brut, Mallorca.

Recent performances include a debut solo recital at the Wigmore Hall; Laeiszhalle, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg; Palermo Classica Festival in Italy; the Biarritz Piano Festival; the Deal Music & Arts Festival; and the Petworth Festival. She has also performed in Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Musikhuset Aarhus; and the UN Headquarters in Geneva as well as the EMMA World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Warsaw.

Her international appearances span across Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Switzerland, Georgia, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, France, the UK, Austria, Latvia, Denmark and throughout Lithuania. Having won the Purcell School Concerto Competition, she performed Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. Milda won the Royal Academy of Music’s 2023 Sterndale Bennett Piano Prize, and is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions including first prize in the international V. Krainev Piano Competition in Kharkov, Ukraine; the ‘jury‘ prize in the PIANALE International Academy & Competition; Grand Prix in the 10th and 15th international piano competitions “Music Without Limits” in Lithuania which lead her to perform in Frankfurt, Germany and Aarhus, Denmark; 1st prize in the 4th international Piano Competition in Stockholm; Milda is also a four-times Prize winner in the national and international Balys Dvarionas competitions.

Milda began playing the piano at six, under the guidance of Irena Meldaikienė. At eight years old, she became a scholar of the SOS Talents Foundation - Michel Sogny, marking the start of her extensive European performances. She later studied with Liudmila Kašėtienė and Justas Dvarionas before continuing her education at the Purcell School of Music in London. Experienced in a wide range of ensemble settings, Milda has worked closely with distinguished artists such as Barbara Hannigan and Levon Chilingirian in enriching her interpretive depth and collaborative skills.
