For more than 30 years, the Tillett Trust has been financially supporting young classical musicians when they need it most at the very start of their professional solo careers.
By providing what are often modest sums to bridge that vulnerable gap between educational bursaries and working fees, the Trust aims to encourage these young musicians to persevere with their chosen career.
In this way, the Trust aspires to preserve the legacy of the celebrated concert agency Ibbs & Tillett and also to ensure that the generous bequest from Mrs. Emmie Tillett, which enabled the charity to be founded in 1970, is put to enduring good use.
