For over 35 years, The Tillett Trust has supported many hundreds of outstanding young musicians in various ways: offering postgraduate bursaries and grants for performance-related projects, as well as supporting the Young Artists’ Platform recital scheme.

The Trust’s work is more important than ever in today’s world. The cost of courses is rising, competition in the profession is intensifying and it has become increasingly difficult for young performers to bridge the financial gap between leaving education and starting to earn a living as a professional musician.

With such pressure on our limited resources, we would like you to help us to support the stars of tomorrow and the vibrancy of our musical culture, not just the YAP scheme, but all our activities.

We are asking you, our friends and supporters, to consider helping in whatever way suits you best, whether by one-off donations or by setting up a regular standing order even for a modest amount in favour of The Tillett Trust.

If you would like to help us you can use the forms we have set up by clicking on the links below or if you want more information email Katie Avey on

You may also donate by sending a cheque, payable to The Tillett Trust, to Katie Avey at the address below; by making a BACS payment into the Trust account – for bank details please email Katie Avey on or alternatively for small donations you can now donate directly to the Tillett Trust via your phone.
